Hi, just wondering if anyone can help? I’ve got a 2011 E class estate which has been dropping on its rear air suspension. It only happens on the near side rear. I initially thought it was a leak, but it doesn’t go down in a consistent manner. Sometimes it’s fine for days, other times it will go down every night or when left for a few hours. Occasionally it will go down in front of my eyes, especially if it’s parked on slightly uneven ground. Perhaps it could be a sensor? Thanks.

Hello and welcome

Leak in the bag is likely and it depends how it sits as to whether it leaks or not.
Spray some soapy water over it and the connections and see where the bubbles are coming from.
It’s a common enough issue and there are quite a few threads on here with the issue

Been there done that.............Mine did the exact same as how you have describe. Fitted 2 new airbags and the cars been good. Once the bags are off you can see the thinning of the rubber where the air escapes from. Always replace as a pair ;)
