recommended garage in east london for 1971 280SE wanted

I just bought a 1971 280SE auto saloon my first mercedes. I am looking to find a garage that also deals with classic mercedes and is possibly in my area, hackney and around, in east london or the closest to that.

the car now needs a service/check-up and some work on the brake servo to start with and will need some bodywork done later.

if anyone has any recommendations that would be appreciated.

Ackroyd Drive, E3...

...is home to a company called Tidworth, in a railway arch. Haven't got number to hand but I'm sure they're on Yell.com.

Have used them a couple of times, and work done was very good. As owning old Mercs seems to be an expensive pastime, I couldn't possibly comment on whether they're good value!

There's a good cheap Merc guy called Sam's Autos in Stockwell also, but that's a little further away.

Yes

Ivan & his crew looked after my 250TD for about 5 years when I lived in London. I can't find fault with anything Automerc have done for me
