Reduce Oil Level

After driving for about half an hour at say 70 - 80 mph the dashboard message flashes up - "Reduce oil level". The dipstik (the one in the engine, not behind the wheel ) shows three quarters full on the gap between the red markers. Anyone had similar or have advice please ?
