All,
I posted a few weeks ago asking about my oil consumption and complaining about a fuel smell from my 300TE. Well, the good news is that my engine is healthy. The bad news is that a fuel accuator (or something named like that) is cracked. Apparently it is a plastic tube that conducts gas to and fro. Not a big deal labor wise to replace but the part costs $340. Yikes!!!! Given that the faulty part is leaking fuel on my engine block I think the prudent thing to do is to suck it up and lay out the dough, otherwise I may blow myself and my 300TE sky high. Just thought you might be interested. Cheers.
