Car has a M102.963 engine with a cat included in the front section of the exhaust system. Is it possible to refit this front section by the same exhaust front section of the non-cat, M102.962 engine? I believe this part has a small muffler in place of the cat.
I'm expecting that the cat needs replacing soon due to ageing, and am wondering if I can do without one. The cat itself not required by law here, and I expect that the engine meets the emission levels without the cat aswell. Would save me a load of money....
