Replacing reg bulbs.... how the hell do I get in to it?

Hi folk.
Got a 2016 plate GLA and want to change the reg bulbs to replace with led ones. Is this as big a job as it looks?

Should be 2 screws per lamp. Piece of pi55.

I think that's what the screws are made out...
Scratch the coating with the screwdriver and they'll be rusting away in no time

Ah! For that sir I recommend Dinitrol!

be careful when replacing with LED, sometimes the vehicle will see a fault, as very small draw, might think bulb has blown and throw a light up on dash.

2016 GLA May have these daft ones you can only access after removing the boot trim and are an all in one affair,

Nope no information there.

Try and pop them out with a piece of strong plastic , like a trim remover

Yea i saw that issue. I plan getting ones that avoid that if I can get fitting instructions

Have read and look at pics - I think yours will be the same as my SLK... Yours will be LED's anyway I reckon, mine were....

Yes if you do pull the lamp holders out remove the earth leead from the battery .Some lights dont have insulation on the conectors and it can catch the body .
