Hi Television or any other member which has kindly received the instructions for the wing mirror ...would sumone plz forward me a copy too m4ndz@aol.com or plz help me with advice.....the driverside wing mirror on my c220 cdi 2004 is acting up and i dont know what to do.....the indicator on it isnt working but the ones on the front and rear are fine...it ticks fast and i have a message on the dash saying faulty indicator...does it need a new bulb, also it has times where it doesnt open and i have to press the close then open button again to get it to work and then another time it opens part way aaarrgghhhhh ...the passenger side one has also started to be naughty by the mirror positioning not working....sorry its a bit vague but i dont wanna drive it into mercs and be charged arm and leg ... can anyone help please?

Sounds like broken wire within the mirror to me, once the cover is off you can try the indicator lens on 12v

Car was looked at by local indie and hey presto!! he has fixed all three mirror issues, charged me £40 as was just dodgy wires!

Fell out with my local dealership this morning over servicing costs and being made to feel stupid and feeling like they trying to rip me off!!! wont stamp my book indeed! agghhhhh thats another story .

Hello, I have been trying to remove the cover of a c180 2006 komp with electric folding mirrors. With the wing mirror folded in, I cannot find any clips to release the cover :Oops:.
