Hello young man,,I do have the answer to that some where as the rev counter on a diesel was a retro fit in place of the clock I believe

As it was at leasr 3 years ago I will have to look it up shortly

Hi malc, must have a lay down for an hour, was going to have a rest from the sl today, but been working on it all morning, would like to no what the sl rev counter is connected to so I can connect it to the diesel as your the expert on these 129s, managed to connect glow plug relay up from ignition and alternator as plug was different.

I have the paper for the rev counter retrofit and I will send that.

The rev counter on a 129 is a different cup of tea as it was never a retrofit.

The 250D used the front crankshaft sensor, and the 129 used the other end of the engine.

As the rev counter on the 129 is built into the cluster, I may not have anything that I can print off
