reversing light

    It's part of the recognition switch inside the gear lever assembly. You will need to ring mb and ask if it's available separate from the lever.
    If it is then the lever module must be taken apart to replace it. Not a job for a novice btw

    thanks guys got the switch from euro parts was wondering how to get the module apart

    You can do it with the top cover off I think, its right on its own at the end of the box
