Right Hand Drive

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a Right Hand drive conversion kit for my American 2004 CL55 AMG? I'll order it from any nation where I can source it.

I suspect it would be cheaper to buy a RHD CL.
It's so rarely done that I doubt anyone will know what you need and I've never heard of a kit, I'd suggest finding a written off UK CL and scavenging the parts but you're a braver man than me!

Why do you want to convert it'll cost a fortune! As Jberks says buying a RHD Cl at even our inflated prices will be cheaper. It's not a simple job of swapping the steering over, its all the controls, dash and last but not least the whole wiring loom!.

I've been driving a LHD (500E) for the last 6 years and 120K miles and I think its maybe cool. Makes kerb crawling easier!!!! I've also found that an unexpected benefit is that I am more alert and even in RHD cars I go through the proper procedures for overtaking etc, which I have noticed is missing from most motorists. Also, when you park you don't have to get out into the flow of traffic.
I've also had some fun putting my younger daughter in the front passenger seat (lawfully) and giving her a toy steering wheel. I don't half get some worried looks from other road users (including the police) who think she is driving!!

I've just read your thread again. Are you just asking about what's necessary to run a LHD (US) Cl in Britain? If so there are a few (relatively) simple changes for UK type Approval.
Its headlights, indicators running lights, etc.
Your best bet would be to ask an american vehicle importer to list the changes.
