hi guys, after all the problems i've had with my e280, and the help i've been given from you all, she now purrs like a kitten at 750-800 rpm, but only in (p) or (N), once you put her in drive or reverse you get a jolt instead of a nice smooth change the rpm drops to 600 and as you pull away hesitates and stalls, i've topped up the gear box oil but no difference, any ideas

There should be a switch on the box that tells the idle to speed up when in gear.

rough gear engagement

Hi Mr roscher, try this for me, Engine at idle speed, select d, lights on, A/C on (if fitted) and turn the steering to full lock. Does the engine stall? If not what is the Rpm?
