:?: my 1987 300se runs like a dream, starts instantly from cold but wont start when warm without depressing the accelerator and cranking the engine for a while,it then starts on about 4 cyl and clears itself, then its as smooth as silk till you want to idle then the tickover is sometimes poor to say the least.I have had the idle control valve off and soaked overnight in parrafin and it seems to be working ok,I have serviced the engine and had the dizzy cap off and cleaned it and the rotor arm ( both were in perfect condition already) just to make sure.anybody any ideas ?
Also can anybody tell me which other merc model wheels will fit as I think the standard alloys look a little small for the car and would like to change to 17" or 18" .Cheers.
