I saw yesterday a product named RVS (http://www.rvs-tec.com/English/index.htm) where the company claims that it can even out piston/cylinder bore surfaces and even reduce the 'gap' (don't know the exact tech English phrase here, sorry lads...) between piston and cylinder, thus enhancing the compression, even out differences in compression between the cylinders etc. etc.
I believe we all heard wonder stories from Fairy Land before about this and that amazing product, but the scientific explanation RVS gives actually is pretty waterproof - but: science and theories are one side, an engine overhaul is the other (The Dark) side, so before pouring the stuff down ind my old M116 V8, I would really appreciate to hear if someone on the forum has tried using RVS in engine/driveline and can give me a "yes, it's brilliant" or "DON'T, I blew my engine!" back.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Hans, DK
