Hi everyone
Just back from a trip yesterday and noticed a heavy vibration when reversing or going forward at low speed.
Mobilo just arrived and think it could be either an engine mount or gearbox mount.
Anybody else every had this problem? Is it an engine out job?
Thanks
Dave:)

Had this starting on mine (320) turned out is was the prop shaft mount that was worn, also the rear rubber joint between shaft & back axle was starting to get brittle.

I thought so as well but even an indie was quoting £600ish. And of course they're given me a list of another 5 or 6 jobs that need doing but I'll get my local garage man to do those as they're more run of the mill!

Wheel bearing needs adjusting.
2 x Spring link arms.
Brake pipes showing corrosion at rear, Axle needs to be dropped.
Rear propshaft coupling needs replacing as showing cracks.
Rear suspension bellows are perished.
Besides that perfect!;)

115k and I've had it since new. Services on the button every time. It goes to show that whatever you do things are designed to wear out these days!

That prop shaft coupling is what i had done, get them to do the front mounting as well bet it has some play in it, wheel bearings probably just need tightening up , seems to be a common fault, But the rest ! looks like another big bill, most seems to be on the rear. , Good luck, maybe you can sell the wife,
