Hi,

I've been using a engine conditioner that is said to improve engine combustion and save on fuel. A friend in the us was using it and told me he was saving money on fuel by using it, so i'm been trying it out myself.

So far i've increased my fuel mileage by about 14%! Has anyone else used such a product on their benz as i'd like to compare results.

Thanks,

If it were that cheap and easy, the oil co's would do it. They have the 'super' fuels and on older cars can get good results (14% is too high though) but factor in the extra cost and there isn't a lot in it. The detergents in the additives and super fuels are worth using every now and then though. Keeps the injectors clear.

I'm sure it will be repeated but the Mythbuster 'Sticking it to the man' show is well worth watching.
