SBC / Sensotronic warranty ... recent extension

I fear, as in another recent question of mine, that the fact it's not been asked before* rather diminishes my hopes of getting an answer now but I just wonder if anyone's heard something about Mercedes extending the warranty to (or is it by) 25 years / unlimited miles on SBS brake systems? Or is it just in the US? I say "heard something" in the sense, I've heard a possibly third-hand rumour. Just trying to bottom it out factually.


* - I searched SBC and also Sensotronic and both drew complete blanks!

US only MBWorld . Org have many threads about it
A few companies including Jonny mentioned above do a complete SBC pump rebuild for under £400.
If your fault code is C249F it may be possible to have the pump re-set for far less.
