SERVICE CD-ROM 124 CHASSIS

Hi,
has anyone purchased the service  CD-ROM FOR THE 124 CHASSIS [2CD'S]  available in the US. I believe they can be purchased for 159 us dollars + postage. Unfortunately they only deal with US   models but I guess most of the information would be the same????
Does anyone know of a UK source of these, or comment on their content and quality. I have the haynes manual but it stops at 1993. I believe brooklands also publish a manual for the 124 chassis up to 1995 but I dont know if it is any better than the Haynes one??? Any comments on either the CD set or Brooklands manual welcome. cheers G

Try a search for Mercedes 124 or Mercedes W124 - you'll find them for sale rather cheaper! But they are pirated copies - and for US-spec models. I couldn't find a UK source for 126 or 107 CDs.

you could try e-baymotors.com-it is an online auction and will have the cd rom you are looking for-i paid 21 us dollars=14 pounds for a cd rom for the w201-the cd arrived in 3 days by post from the u.s.!!!!good luck

My 126 cd manual should be here on Mon, the 124 manuals should be with me by Tuesday

It will be a lot easier when they actualy do a R129 manual

did you ever get the service cd sorted? i have a copy of an american program but am not sure if your car is covered. see mt thread on MB maintenance on cd-rom in the technical or spares sections. pm me if you need more info.
