hi all i have a e220d its a 66 plate and i got it last november its now due a b1 service mercedes have quoted me £547 is this a fair price seems expensive to me .

seems very expensive to me too, what's included in the service other than an oil change? Not much I suspect.

You've got a couple of days left to get a 20% discount on a MB service plan- see the recent thread which gives details. Might be worth considering.

Where do you live buddy , you may have one of our excellent Mercedes Independent specialist round the corner who don’t charge MB rates

Has your car a full MB service history, if not I would go to an MB independent.
If it has as have a look at a 3 year service plan now discounted by 20%. You will get two B & one A service out of that, & possibly a auto gearbox oil change if it’s due in the next 3 years.
Also worth looking on line at MB servicing, not all MB garages charge the same price for servicing.

B1 on that, depending on mileage will likely be an oil + filter change and brake fluid + Fuel filter.

Approx £310 at our place vs main dealer.
Same service history updated as well.
