Hi all.
I have had my 96 C200 for 5 years and have been loyal to MB dealers when having it serviced and getting that three pointed star stamped on the service book. This is due in part to Quentin Willson (Top Gear & 5th Gear) banging on how important it is when buying a second hand Merc to make sure there is full MB service history.
I have now reached 96k and have no plans to sell for at least another 2 years. I know an excellent non franchise dealer (alot cheaper than MB) with excellent staff who have carried out work on other cars in the family.
I note that lots of you guys service and repair your own classic and older Mercs.
Am I right in thinking that in a few years my car will sell on its condition and mileage (probably about 110k) rather than who has serviced it in its later life?
Your opinions would be appreciated
