I have a 2007 SL250 which I've had for about 6 months and is due a B service. My local dealer has quoted £675. Seems a bit on the high side. Is this the going rate?

why go to a main dealer with an 07 car? There will be loads of independents around that'll be much cheaper .... you'd probably get better service too.

Last time (a few years ago) I looked at dealer pricing for the SL500 B service it was over 1K, needless to say it didn't go there

B Service is £270 + VAT with us

Includes, engine oil + filter, brake fluid flush, full underbody inspection, hinge lube, fluids etc.

AMF Automotive or this guy who carried out a B service on my car in January for £304 inc VAT. And he did far more checks than my main dealer listed.
