been asked by my insurance company the name of the alarm on my car and if it was factory fitted. Any nway of finding out.

It was factory fitted , as they all are . I want to say Thatcham , but don’t quote me on that

It's not Thatcham. Thatcham is a UK testing facility not a manufacturer of alarms.

I'm reasonably certain all SLs came with a factory fitted alarm. The only way to be sure is to visually check.

Yep, Thatcham tested to Cat 1 approvals. Not Thatcham manufactured.
