Sl55 Amg

I am a new member and very proud owner of an 04 SL55 AMG. 15 years ago I had a 380SL and I have no idea why it has taken me so long to return to the Mercedes fold.

The SL55 is an awesome car and I get a thrill every time that engine bursts into life.

Any tips from other owners as to general maintenance etc.?

Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the gear stick with one that has a cover for the start/stop button e.g. like the SLR?

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

You would need to add Keyless Go to your car which is expensive as it involves transmitters/receivers etc.

Keyless Go is very nice to have, I put it on a rating with parking sensors
