I've got a C230 Coupe at the mo with the 7G box. I've had it nearly half a year now and still (dare I say it) wish I'd got the manual box.
I don't want a manual vs auto debate here as I'm sure it's been done to death but I'm interested in getting a SLK and if I'm correct there's a C and S setting as I have now but also a M which I'm assuming is a true clutchless manual?
How does this work in practice? ie is it immediate change up and down with the Tip or wheel paddles? What does it do for instance if you are in M mode in say 7th and you slow down to a crawl. Does it change down gear(s) by itself in this case to prevent the engine stalling?
Thanks for any info.
