SLK Arial

Another question for you guys !
I hate that long Arial on my SLK (2004) .
Is there a better one on the market at all (Smaller) , and if so where would i get one ?
My mate has a SL , i tried that its fits but you cant pick up any radio stations !

A radio aerial needs to be long enough to just clear the highest part of the car. in your case 4" to 6" above the roof line is ok. The votage from an antenna is picked up only on the tip.
Your friends must have been faulty or not plugged in correct.
