SLK Wheel Arch Rust - Question for TV

My W210 is bubbling at the bottom of each front wing, so YES PLEASE.

Ok looks like a yes then, i will put something together and start a thread in the bodywork section and maybe the mods could make it a sticky ?
i will need a couple of weeks to get this sorted so bare with me as i do have a lot of work on and need some time away from work

Here's a picture of the rust on the nearside front arch of the SLK. Is this something that I could tackle at home? A couple of other arches have some signs of rust but this one is by far the worst. We've had the car from almost new and I always religiously clean the mud/salt that accumulates on the inner lip. It's a shame as the car is completely clean otherwise.
