Slk55 Amg??

Hi,

New to these lands, I'm currently debating on a new toy for the summer, I've come across a few SLK55's at between 40 - 45k for an 05 model and they are very tempting.

A few questions on running and ownership costs as I have no idea...what are the servicing intervals like and costs? anything to be wary about on buying and second hand one?

SLinKyjoe used to run an SLK55 so maybe able to give you some advice. You can also use the search facility if you have not already done so.

Why the SLK and not the SL? At 45K that is where my money would be going.

There are only two cars that Mercedes have produced that made me go weak at the knees. The 300SL gullwing and the current SL55 AMG.
