Snatchy autobox W210 E320 cdi

I've noticed of late that occasionally my car pulls away with a real thud almost like there is no drive until 1500rpm and it comes in all at once

Any ideas??? , the gearbox oil was changed about 6 months ago

dont have a cat

but the car was warm on both occasions and had been driven 20miles plus

You do have a CAT.

A fault in the gearbox has probably been logged.

The atf level must be checked first but I suspect a faulty speed sensor in the gearbox.

I dont have a cat, but the one from next door comes in sometimes
