Hi,and welcome to the forum.
This is certainly not a stupid question as the plugs are well hidden on these engines. First remove the intake ducting from the air filter to throttle body, then unbolt the cover from the top of the camshaft cover. Next disconnect the low tension wiring from the ignition coils, disconnect the plug leads from spark plugs on cyls.2 and 4 then unbolt the ignition coils and disconnect from plugs 1 and 3.
When replacing the plugs screw in carefully by hand using a socket and extension then torque to 20lbf ft/27Nm.
One you know your way around this is a fairly easy engine to work on but I would suggest you buy a workshop manual if you intend to do anything more than basic servicing;Haynes 3511 is for your car and covers most things.
Cheers, Geo.
I'm still arguing the toss with Bosch about over torqued plugs. their box says 25Nm, I gave it 23 ( according to Bosch's lab analysis) and they are claiming over torqued even at that . Natch, they are as guilty as a fox in a henhouse, but don't be givng them more torque than you have to as per the manufacturer's instructions.
