well, if you are going to Rochdale

I use Duke Street Autopoint, 01706 526677. Not specialists, but a reasonably competent set of mechanics, and the proprietor/chief mechanic has had a few MBs himself. They have looked after all my cars reasonably well for years.

Where in Cheshire are you - there is a guy in Deeside? Would that work for you?

No, it's suggestion really, not a recommendation - if you do use him, some feedback would be good.
I've seen one positive recommendation, and one that wasn't so sure. He's apparently ex Newgate Motors, who used to be the MB dealer in Chester.

Ok folks here we go:
B service -50K mileage.
Oil & filter change (Mobil 1).
pollen filter change.
16 spark plugs (MB).
Brake service ( clean calipers & drain holes in disks etc..)
Adjust front wheel bearings and pack with grease.
Gearbox oil and new multiplug (seal leaking on plug).
Car washed and valeted (inc.. inside of alloys).

Overall I'm pleased, we'll see how the car runs over the next week or so.

TOTAL: £530 inc VAT.

That has to be *at least* a grands worth of work at dealer, yet your praise seems a little muted - why so?
