Totally agree numbnuts. .Some people on this forum have no sence of humor at all.I will probably get put of the forum for posting this. i don't care.If people are as sad as this i don't want to be part of it .What do other members think.

Hi!

My problem is not a lack of humour- just that I've been caught out recently by similar types of stuff which park nasties on the hard drive & don't get picked up by the anti-virus software. If it's really funny it will stay funny even if you know you're going to get a laugh.

I think having a laugh is above most people on this forum.

Landover, I think all of them have a sense of humour to a greater or lesser extent but see the Forum as something like the Samaritans - somewhere to go when their world is falling apart to gleen information to ease their furrowed brows...

I suppose if you have a problem then a witty reply to it doesn't go down all that well sometimes. I suppose it depends on your outlook on life - If I have a problem with my SL then I'll post a question and am glad of any responses at all - witty or otherwise ! If theres no answer that works then I'll book it in at a specialist and get it fixed or try and work it out myself. If it costs money then it costs money.

I suppose the worry is that forums can degenerate into places for witty repartee and no information - a healthy balance is the answer - or maybe a seperate area for the more tongue in cheek questions and answers.

I happen to love my SL500 its not cheap to run due to far too judicious use of the kickdown - but the exhilaration that you get when it turns from a gentle quiet cruiser to a cheetah thats just had it b*llocks caught in a door is wonderful....
