Hi, first post with a question for all, I'm afraid.
My sprinter has gotten steadily worse at starting over the last couple of months until now it won't start at all, but once running it will run all day, although it doesn't like going over 3000 revs except in top gear on the motorway. It has a strong exhaust smell which I take as overfuelling, although the consumption of diesel hasn't changed that much. Is it as everyone else with a 220 cdi engine asks about, the injectors, or something else? The glow plugs were changed when this problem first emerged at Christmas but the injectors seem the best choice, now?
Anyone know a good place nr Ipswich as my MB specialist won't take anything larger than a Vito!
