sprinter 312sudden death again

fully laden ,having checked hints with regard to sudden motor death syndrome,poor old sprinter dies again .ABD light came on and immediate engine death followed.decided to hire a van.my van good as gold on returning to local hirers.haven't driven it again for 2 weeks.any clues we may be parting company soon i feel

How old is it?

When you say it dies do you mean cuts out? Does it restart straight away?

1996 312 sprinter lwb after engine dies will restart rolling bump or via ignition .engine feels fuel starved.splutters and jumps often stopping with abd light coming on prior to each cough ,splutter and stall. drove the van again today good as gold but i have no trust in it.
