Stalling when engine warm 300TE - Stalling when engine warm

Hi, I hope someone can help. My car starts great from cold and runs smoothly. When the engine is warm though it does not like to tick over and misfires badly causing it to stall (auto gearbox). I think it must be some sort of sensor which adjusts the fuel mixture (keeping it running too rich when hot) but do not know where to start looking. Any ideas?

The best thing you can do is get it in to a MB specialist. Don't throw parts at it as most people do and miss the problem and waste money. There is maybe one thing you could try in this case. Depending on your skill. Remove the distributor cap and check it. But otherwise without checking emissions and ignition patterns for basic settings before getting involved with injection system diagnostics and if you havn't the equipment then it would probably be cheaper to have it proffesionaly looked at.
