Got an E Class which has got stuck in we think the emergency gear (1st or 2nd per previous forums discussions)
Does anyone know why this has occurred and what is the remidy for getting it fixed as apparently the Merc Dealership who have it at the moment do not know why it is doing it having had it plugged into their computer system!
Park, Reverse and 1st gear work under Drive. There doenst seem to be any problem with engine, revs etc. Local garage had look couldn't see anything wrong changed fluid and I think filter but to no avail.
Any light on situation would be very much appreciated.
