Supercharger Fixed At Last

After over 6wks we finally had a new supercharger fitted to our car on Thursday. I do wonder if they were so slow in fixing it as it was covered under the warranty.

When we took the car in on Thursday they promised it would be ready by the end of the day. In reality it wasn't ready until 4pm on Friday. Their excuse was that 'it had a different engine to what we thought it had'. To me that sounds a load of bs as surely Merc techs know the engines of all the cars?

On top of that they also said it took far longer than they had at first thought, but all work has a book time, or so I thought. We also wanted them to fix a noise the front window was making, all they did was lubricate it, which didn't do anything.

That is true, but I am one of those people that prefer to get my partner to park it, so then I know exactly where it is. If I was on my own however I would appreciate this service, or they would end up with a forecourt full of damaged Mercedes

When we enquired about a courtesy car the wait was even longer.

Fortunately we only live about a mile from Mercedes Watford so it was a nice walk home for the other half. It's when it starts to inconvenience me that I become concerned
