My S500 (W220) runs perfectly apart from when I'm coasting or slowing down. For example at 50 mph with no throttle it gives little surges/accelertation spurts. I've already changed the MAF and this made no difference apart from giving smoother gearshifts. I have two faults codes that consistently return:
2017 - cylinder 1-3 mixture self regulation reaches limit (idle)(P0170)
2086 - cylinder 4-6 mixture formation unit adaptation reaches limit (idle)(P0170)
Before I blame the aftermarket MAF sensor, is there anything else that could be causing this (apart from a vacuum leak)?
