I am going to sound very dim here but does anyone know what the E stands for in the 190E? does it stand for extra, and if so what extra's do you get on a 190e as opposed to a straight 190?sorry to insult the intelligence of you experts out there but I would like to know...please

I was told the "E" stands for Einsprits (sp?) which is German for injection. Basically a 190 is carburettor fed whereas a 190E is fuel injected.

The E stands for Einspritz, its the German word for Injection (roughly translated). Versions thats are badged just as 190 are carb models, and the 190E's have the mechanical fuel injection.
