The M119 Engine

Could anyone tell me, the 326 BHP quoted for this engine would be with the cat on right?

Any power quotes WITHOUT the cat? Cant find any myself.

I do not think that the CAT makes that much difference, they same figures were quoted irrespective of the country where they went to.

Just found this on the net..

Output figure of the M119 without CATS is 333bhp.

Indeed not much but every little helps.

I know its difficult to judge, but what increase from say 6.4 seconds (which is what i believe the S500 achieves) would there be if you stripped 400 kilos from it? Sub 6 seconds surely?..

It should better that, maybe 5.75

Nice.

I believe the weight difference from my W126 and the S500 is around 400 - 500 kilos.

Add to that a complete rebuilt and a rebore to approx 5.2 Litres and an ECU remap hopfully will bring around 20lbs more torque.

So hopfully a target of 5.5 seconds being feasible?
