Cheers, il get the code.
It’s been in for diagnostic and showed that was the problem. It’s a ml250 62 plate. Tried google YouTube and can’t find anything, not so easy position like the video shared.

cheers

Not very specific .

If a new throttle body doesn't work it could be the wiring .

OM651 engine ?

Smart + others :)
These throttle flaps fail quite often, the diagram makes it look easier than it is.

hi new to this site i am just waiting for my new throttle body to arrive to change my self this fault has been happening over the last month but must have had this fault when i bought the car 6 weeks ago it kept storing the fault please see picture when i clear the fault if flies but then after a few days it gets a little lumpy on tick over and acceleration but doesn`t go into limp mode cos it is only at fault at position 1 so i will fit new throttle body this week and see what happens i have ordered a bosch one from ebay with 5 years guarantee 89 pound would cost a fortune at mercedes i took the accelerator pedal off and cleaned all that but it still came up with fault i have only had the car 6 weeks love the car but i am a mechanic and like it to be right so from day one service new discs and pads and handbrake shoes new back plates gearbox service, map sensor changed dpf took off and cleaned was 105% blocked also exhaust pressure sensor changed the car is almost perfect again and will be good for another 100,000 miles beauty of being your own mechanic i suppose fault code came up as PO12315

EASY JOB mate i will do a video when i change mine it is located as you look at the engine from the front it is on the right hand side bolted to the inlet manifold it has four bolts and a electrical plug near the fuel filter looks like the attachments take your time and give it a good clean easy job all it is is a electronic butterfly valve that works in line with your electric accelerator no cable all electronic so when you press the accelerator a electronic switch tells the ecu and the ecu tells the throttle body how much to open both work in situe look up wind booster it goes on you accelerator pedal and has 3 modes for better response

Having issues with my throttle valve intermittently but steadily getting worse on my 2010 C250 any ideas of what kind of job it is? Looks like the vacuum chamber and egr cooler have to be removed any pointers and issues I should expect? Any help greatly appreciated

it is fiddly, and the turbo pipe needs to come off the side, not horrible when you have done a few. Don't forget all the gaskets/seals

Been having issues with it for a while now comes back with the same code relating to the throttle valve which co insides with the car putting the Eml on and going into limp on occasions have also noticed the car doesn’t shut off cleanly leading up to this which I am thinking the throttle valve is not operating correctly probably shoot build up from the egr just wanted some information on the type of job to remove and replace
