Have just noticed the following problems??!!
1: On turning key to first stop I get a "ticking" sound which almost sounds like the dreaded sound when you have a flat battery but no flat battery.
On turning to start engine no problems.
2: Engine runs sweetly with no squeal from fanbelt etc. but when you put into either forward or reverse "squeal" starts again.
Appears to disappear when you move off.
Signature Warranty due to run out end August.
Any help before taking to dealership gratefully appreciated

Only done 22,000 miles and purchased from merc dealer
