This has been in operation at Edinburgh airport for a while now, and also Glasgow more recently.
Minimum charge at Edinburgh for dropping off at the terminal is £4 for up to 10 minutes then it doubles from 10-15 minutes.
There is a free 30 minute drop off/pick up for up to 30 minutes which is a brisk 5 minute walk from the terminal.

Daylight robbery for those with no choice but to wait for an arrival.

Bournemouth Airport is situated on a one way in and out road. Once you've entered it, you have to pay to get out through the car park. Any funny business like a sneaky u turn is picked up on APNR cameras lined up along the road. Thieving b@stards.

If you are picking up or drop off at Birmingham drive to Birmingham International rail station.
Drop off is free, passenger gets the free transit train across to the airport. Very frequent & only about 3 minutes duration.
Picking up parking is very cheap if you have to wait.
