i got as far as the end of the civic review, and must say up to that point was probably the worst TG i've seen. Half of it was a re-run of the review of the old version. I love watching it, and all the old ones too, but maybe at last it's become a bit stale...?

I think this week's was something of a filler. I guess they can't go trecking around the world every week. The star was boring as hell (had it on sky+ so forwarded him), not too fascinated with the Honda - though Clarkson's comments must have had Honda execs in tears. The estate bit was really just an excuse for Jeremy to thrash an E63 and an M5 round a Manchester airport runway (nice to see the merc burning the BMW off ). I couldn't really see why they'd bothered, given that TG have their own runway.
Not the best, but given their usually high standard, even they are going to struggle to achieve it every week. The bubble car in the BBC offices has to be one of the greats this series - ok not very technical but brilliantly funny, which is why most of us watch.
I find it amusing that they win awards for factual programming when they are essentially a light entertainment / comedy show.

They normally have a few bits on the TG website. They have some good outtakes there too.
