Valve Noise

I have just taken possession of a 450SL that was in storage for a good while. It has two issues that annoy me. One is that there is excess valve clatter; and second the fan makes a high pitch noise (bearings maybe?).
Q. Will the hydraulic valve stem adjusters kick in over time (have they been oil starved etc)? Or is it time to spend some hard earned cash? Why the fan noise? Is it easy to remedy, and where would I get new bearings (assuming it is that).
Cheers
Greg

Ok bud if i were u i would do an oil flush then refill with good quality oil and change the filter for the valves see what happerns after a nice long run. The fan noise is most likely a sliping belt.
