Valve spring compressor - the tool?

Hi all

Was wondering if anyone knew where I can obtain the tool required to compress valve springs on my 560 sec?I need to change the rocker arms.
I've spoken to mercedes and they can sell it to me for about £280....which I think is a total rip off.
Does anyone know of a hire shop or somewhere one could buy this tool slightly cheaper than from the dealers.Doe s the MBOA club possibly hire out any specialist tools to its members?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Where do you live? Any decent motor spares shop in the UK will be able to sell you a valve compressor. For a lot less than £280. If you need help in sourcing one let me know.

Hi Jason

Buy the sound of it you are trying to replaced said rocker arms without removing cam etc. If so. I do not  know of any body else who would be able to supply the tool required.
