verification of AMG conversion CLK 320 cab

I have been the happy owner of a modified CLK320 CAB for the last two years. The suspension has been lowered and exhaust modified. The car has the std auto tiptronic gearbox and there are no badges on the rear of the car.
When i bought the car , a friend checked all the relevant details and verified that the modifications were done by Mercedes. He has susequently emigrated and i dont have a forwarding address. I cant find any paperwork to confirm his research that the mods were done by AMG when the car was new.
Any ideas on how to prove the mods were done by AMG ?
I will need to sell the car shortly, school fees have put paid to the 'fun' in transport!

I would have thought a local dealer would be able to help they have records of most cars history, ...they use the chassis number which tells the spec of the car from build etc.
