Very Sharp Brakes!!

Hi All, as I mentioned in an earlier post I had taken my car in for a service, during my car was in for this service the dealership had givemme a new C Class (C220) when I drove this car I noticed that a very slight press on the brake pedal and the car came to a sudden stop!! it was so sensitive ill I needed to dowas to blow on the brake pedal and the car would stop.
My car has AMG Brakes and my rear pads are only 30% worn and front 20% worn, my car has only covered 26,000 miles and my brakes arent nearly half as sharp. I have noticed that during my period of driving over the years when a car is very new the brakes seem much more sharper but over a short time they seem to loose their initial strong bite. can any one explain?

The 230's have some of the best brakes going, mine are suburb and sharp with an effortless touch the car stops.

You have larger disc and pads on your Brabus.
I replaced my front disc at 30k mile as they went odd and the surface had tram lines from the holes drilled in the disc, and at 35k my rears are still good, though I will mic them up very shortly.

Nothing much can change from new, re the stopping power

Strange, all 230's are SBC equipped giving a conistent braking feel despite it being a "by wire" type system. The C class you drove had a more conventional mechanical system, not an electric one.

All cars feel different and its very common for one to find such differences in an unfamiliar car. Your car will shout warnings at you if the brakes do not work 100% as they should.
