I finally got my ml270 on the road yesterday and have noticed some vibration that goes through the car when pulling away. Will be looking round car tomorrow but just wondered if anybody has any ideas which may save me time.It feels a bit like a bus as it pulls off but after that is smooth.

is the glow plug light going out and staying out, could be a misfire, air in the fuel lines.

I've just driven the car for only the second time and the vibration got a bit better as it warmed up so i'm hoping it will be exhaust rattle as it only happens when accelerating and not when coasting

My ML has a similar slight vibration when starting from cold. After warming up - smooth as silk. Had it checked out by a main dealer before driving down to Spain, with emphasis on the engine mounts (as per similar suggestions on this Forum). Engine mounts all in A1 condition.

The dealer said that there was nothing to worry about at all, as this is quite common with the model.

Worth having them checked out though - purely for piece of mind I guess.

i had a quick check underneath tonight and found a bit of play at rear joint of front prop so now wonder if that's enough to judder through the car?I doubt it as you can feel it through the floor and steering wheel
