My vito has also suffered from Black Death.

After reading the black death thread (edz), I have gained the confidence to this job myself.

The copper washers were done 6 months ago by an indy but I suspect he has not seated the injectors properley hence the reoccurance of this problem.

I have one additional problem.

I suspect that my head is slightly cracked. When I the first injector clamp bolt water started coming out so i quickly screwed it back in again. There is no mayonaise under the oil filler cap and there is no oil usage. Is suspect that the water line is cracked but not mixing with the oil.

If it is the head that is cracked then it clearly means that the head needs replacing but i can ill afford to do that now. I was wanting to change the injector seals or injectors and leave the head for a while (for a couple months of careful driving till i get the funds together)

What do you guys think?

Just a little something if the head is cracked, the additives do work quite well and make a seal, several on the market
