Anyone able to offer helpful advice on maintaining a W123 280E?
I've got a 1985 B reg which I sort of inherited... It's in good condition, cosmetically, and has 145k miles on the clock.

It was serviced by MB until 100k miles but hasn't had much done since. I have fitted new tyres and had the battery upgraded (someone had stuck a woefully inadequate battery in it). The last receipts I can find are for servicing the air conditioning but nothing else.

Typically, for this model, what needs done? What are the things that really need attention at this age and mileage?
All advice gratefully received :D

Servicing

If it's missed its services for 45k, you should replace the engine oil and filter, air filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, gear box oil and filter and adjust the tappets.
