Hi all, alas my old 280ce has gone to a better home and I must admit i didn't think i'd be as gutted as i am, but hey i just couldn't get enough surboards in it!
Anyway i'm know the proud owner of a 92/k 230te fully loaded 100k all the toy's and some i didnt know existed for £2000 chuffed!

That was until the exhaust fell off (sorted for a fiver) my main problem is that it is loosing water! I've checked all the pipes and seem fine but i noticed what looks like an over flow pipe on the left hand side of the engine, right at the bottom which leads to the underside of all the pully wheels etc. this has a flow of water from it when the engine is running.

Do any of you boffins out there know what the problem might be before i dive in and break everything? Also does anyone know wher you would hide an alarm on a W124? many thanks[/b]

Water pump required i'm afraid, Scorpion alarm (dealer fit around this time) was supposed to be behind the drivers lower dash area.

Hose comes from the bottom of your waterpump, and allows any water that seeps past the seal to run away, looks like yours is seeping a bit too much. New waterpump i'm afraid. Not a huge job on your car.
